- 2010 - The Year In Review
- The 2010 race season offered Paul Noakes Racing both unique challenges and opportunities. Paul started the season off by converting his alcohol funny car into an alcohol powered Top Dragster. Paul attended the first race of the Quick 32 series with his Top Dragster to set two new records. The fastest ET of 6.04 and fastest mile per hour of 235.

After the first race Paul was approached by a Pro Mod team which had a chassis and body but no motor or transmission. Paul, along with long time friend and crew chief Les Mellows were asked to combine their set up with the Pro Mod car. Never driving a Pro Mod car was challenging but was no obstacle for veteran driver Paul Noakes. Paul drove the car to 2 second places finishes of the five events that he ran!

The year was not yet done for Paul Noakes as he was approached once again to drive another car. Owners Bob and Cathie Floch (Bullet Bob) asked Paul to drive their Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car at the IHRA national event in New Hampshire. Paul did so well that he went on to drive again at a match race the following weekend.

Paul has shown his ability to drive many different Professional classes of cars and to excel at each level. His passion for the sport and his talent are not only reflected by his stats but also the fact that two other professional teams approached him with confidence to drive their cars!
In 2011 Paul plans to run the Pro Mod class of the PMRA series and is intent on taking a serious run at the points championship.
